I go to a hotel for a performance with F. F. shows me a block of houses on a map where his hotel is located. I go with A. to the block in the first hotel. A. is wearing a suit, I follow him in my swimming costume and a white shirt. I ask A. if he has checked the price of the hotel rooms, that they are not too expensive and that we can be reimbursed. At reception we are given two keys on a snap hook. I unhook them. Rooms 101 and 102, why are they giving us rooms next to each other? What if A. can hear C. and me having sex? We look for the rooms. Apparently they must be on the ground floor. Asian restaurants and decorations everywhere. I hope the room doesn't smell like a kitchen. We search but can't find our rooms. I lose A. and go up the stairs. I find my room on the first floor. I go in, take a shower and then go into the bedroom. It's mirrored and colourful. A woman is lying in the unmade bed. She moves in her sleep. I walk out of the room to the bed where I slept. I pick up my scraps of paper from the bed. I wipe blood off one of my fingers so as not to stain the bed. I shouldn't have slept here, I should have asked for a new room straight away. I speak to C. on the phone and tell her that I'm going to change rooms. She shouldn't worry: ‘Tu vas adorer.’
