I'm on a large sailing boat moored in a harbour in the Pacific. A younger woman is on the boat. She's spending her holidays here. Will we get together? I start tidying up the inside of the boat. There are things lying around everywhere. I find a small plant and put it out of the hatch onto the deck so it can grow. Then I hear the engine running. I hadn't noticed it before. What will the wife think of me? I try to switch off the engine but can't find a button. I read the labelling on the switches again and again, but there is no stop button. Finally, I press the side and the engine switches off. My father is lying in front. Something is not quite right. I ask him if he gets on the boat often. He says no. Then I remember that it was a stupid question because my father is dead. The woman gets off the boat to go out.
